The Communist Region

The Communist Region is a minuscule region, inhabited by a few solitary nations and only 2 World Assembly Members.

In The Communist Region, denizens enjoy their civil rights, although not too much, or too freely. Denizens are flush with political freedom, although competing opinions often mean that political gridlock is the norm. Economies in the region tend to be stronger than average. Denizens suffer under an enormous tax burden throughout the region, with a median tax rate of 72%, and much higher for the wealthy. The region is a workers' paradise, as the governments of the region control nearly all of the economic output. Commerce is a priority for governments, accounting for an average of 7% of public expenditure.

In The Communist Region, denizens are afforded a reasonable education, although funding is somewhat wanting. The region is a lawless wasteland, nations regularly being the subject of documentaries by brave filmmakers. Governments make no provision for law and order. Denizens have very well-funded, well equipped defense forces. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 3% of total government budgets.

In The Communist Region, government departments are frequently completely unaware of one another, such is size of administration departments. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 4% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. Welfare is a large part of government expenditure, with denizens amply provided for. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.

In The Communist Region, denizens benefit from a good balance of social equality and motivation for advancement, although aspiration is the priority. The region's landscapes are reasonably good, although the impact of the denizens has had a noticeable effect.

The Communist Region Has flourished under the founders efforts at restoring the region to its former size however there is still work to be done on security issues.
