Laissez Faireholm

Laissez Faireholm is a enormous region, with a very large community of 107 member nations. Laissez Faireholm features a very respectable representation in the World Assembly, with 25 member nations.

Throughout Laissez Faireholm civil rights are held dearly by all. Nations in the region are healthy democracies, with denizens being afforded an extensive array of political freedoms. The economy of the region is very strong, with a large number of very powerful trading powers. Income taxes are unheard of amongst the denizens of the region. The region is a beacon of capitalism, with the public sector not existing in any meaningful way in most constituent economies. Commerce is a major priority of national governments within the region, most of whom are trading nations, as is evidenced by the fact that commerce budgets account for an average of 16% of public expenditure in the region.

Education is a priority for governments throughout Laissez Faireholm, with ample funding being provided and teachers enjoying a great deal of support. There is a moderate level of crime within the region and law enforcement resources are used efficiently. Defense is a major priority for governments within the region, with a large chunk of government budgets being devoted to it. Due to the lack of any government-provided public transport, private bus and train companies have taken charge in reducing congestion.

Nobody really knows about the state of administration in Laissez Faireholm. Observers asked for information, but found nobody was available to take calls. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 3% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Governments in the region are avowedly secular - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.

Social inequality is not a problem amongst the nations within Laissez Faireholm. Natural environments are reasonable, and some measures have been undertaken to ensure that the environment is protected.
