Prizyetsi Foreign Regiments
The Military of the United Federation of Prizyetsa operates ten regiments made up almost entirely of foreigners called Uttlannsäregimenten (Foreign Regiments). Foreigners who serve in the foreign regiments choose to do so for their own reasons, and are accepted into the military after a brief background check to ensure that they are not wanted on serious criminal grounds by any of Prizyetsa's allies. Once they have been accepted into the regiments, their past does not matter anymore, as they are in the regiments to serve Prizyetsa for their own reasons. A result of this is an unspoken "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding many soldiers' pasts.

History
Enlistment & Training
Upon enlistment, those wishing to join the foreign regiments are taken to Hetssoÿ Island for their training. Unlike the normal duration of 30 weeks for standard basic training that Prizyetsi soldiers undergo, the foreigners serving in the foreign regiments are drilled for 52 weeks, or a year, in which time they will learn to speak the Prizyetsi and English languages, and receive military training. Upon graduation, they are sent to garrisons across Prizyetsa, or sent into battle. They also regularly take part in military exercises alongside their native colleagues and allies of Prizyetsa.
Upon finishing their service period of a minimum of eight years, training included, they are allowed to choose whether they wish to give up their past nationality to become Prizyetsi citizens, and if they accept, are offered the chance to change their names. In addition, they are paid out the money they have earned during their service period which is usually around NSD 20,440. If they are killed in action, they are required to provide a confidential contact to which the money they have earned until that point is sent, along with an official letter and transportation to and from the military funeral.
Regiments
Eight of the ten foreign regiments fall under the Naval Infantry's command, where they are expected to serve front line duty alongside Prizyetsi units.
