The Forssvarsmakt (Prizyetsi Armed Forces) is the main government agency which reports to the Prizyetsi Ministry of Defense and responsible for the defense of the Federation. The primary task of the agency is to train and maintain a defense force during peacetime, and to defend the United Federation of Prizyetsa and her allies, as well as serve the The Coalition. With 114,984,500 soldiers in total reserves, the Prizyetsi armed forces is one of the biggest militaries in Ixnay. The armed forces are divided into the Navy, National Guard and the Reserve Forces. Traditionally, the navy has been the main focus of the Prizyetsi armed forces, to the extent that it swallowed up command of most ground units, and a vast majority or air units as well.
Prizyetsi units have taken part in major operations in Aldard, Issøy and the Sovietyeto as well as peace-keeping operations in the Turan Region of the CESP.
The Prizyetsi Armed Forces also administers and runs the Prizyetsi Military Museum and Archives located in Vostobullen.

Branches
The Prizyetsi military is unique since there is a lack of a dedicated branch for the air forces. In addition, there is no dedicated land force, aside from the national guard. These tasks are covered by the navy, which has grown to incorporate them into its overarching strategy thus becoming the largest branch of the military.

Conscription
The Prizyetsi Armed Forces still uses selective conscription. Technically, all males between the ages of 18-40 and females between the ages of 18-30 are eligible to be called in for military service in the event of a national crisis. In times of peace however, conscription is more relaxed. In general, all able-bodied males are required to serve 18 months in the military, while females are allowed to choose whether or not they want to serve. Once they have served however, grants for university are given to aid in their education. For those who have served their period and wish to stay, a special training program is offered which is more in depth and allows them to specialize in an area. Alternatively, one may apply for the military right out of high school or after they have obtained their university degree in which case they may be allowed to follow officers' training at one of the military academies in Prizyetsa or Kauvara. The service length of conscripts is 18 months, that of non-enlisted men is an initial 4 years, and that of officers is an initial 6 years. After this time, they are free to either remain in military service, or leave and active duty but remain in reserve status until the age of 40.
Foreign Regiments
(See the main article: Prizyetsi Foreign Regiments)
The Prizyetsi military operates ten regiments made up almost entirely of foreigners called Uttlannsäregimenten (Foreign Regiments). Foreigners who serve in the foreign regiments choose to do so for their own reasons, and are accepted into the military after a brief background check to ensure that they are not wanted on serious criminal grounds by any of Prizyetsa's allies. Once they have been accepted into the regiments, their past does not matter anymore, as they are in the regiments to serve Prizyetsa for their own reasons. A result of this is an unspoken "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding many soldiers' pasts.
Upon enlistment, those wishing to join the foreign regiments are taken to Hetssoÿ Island for their training. Unlike the normal duration of 30 weeks for standard basic training that Prizyetsi soldiers undergo, the foreigners serving in the foreign regiments are drilled for 52 weeks, or a year, in which time they will learn to speak the Prizyetsi and English languages, and receive military training. Upon graduation, they are sent to garrisons across Prizyetsa, or sent into battle. They also regularly take part in military exercises alongside their native colleagues and allies of Prizyetsa.
Upon finishing their service period of a minimum of eight years, training included, they are allowed to choose whether they wish to give up their past nationality to become Prizyetsi citizens, and if they accept, are offered the chance to change their names. In addition, they are paid out the money they have earned during their service period which is usually around NSD 20,440. If they are killed in action, they are required to provide a confidential contact to which the money they have earned until that point is sent, along with an official letter and transportation to and from the military funeral.
Eight of the ten foreign regiments fall under the Naval Infantry's command, where they are expected to serve front line duty alongside Prizyetsi units.

(see: Jägaräkorpser (Prizyetsa))

Bases
The majority of the Prizyetsi military's bases are operated as Samnäbassissen (Joint Bases/United Bases) which serve more than one branch of the military. Additionally, several bases also serve international interests such as the Höystaväcollege (High Staff College) in Vosto and the Marrinäcollege (Navy College) which serve as the officers training centers and academies for the land and sea components of the Prizyetsi armed forces, but also train staff from other nations.
Equipment
In an effort to increase efficiency, most of the weapons and equipment used by the PRizyetsi Armed Forces are the same throughout the branches, and most are produced by the Sverd Industries group.
