REGION GENERAL INFORMATION

The Sacred Realm is a large region inhabited by a few united nations.

In The Sacred Realm, denizens enjoy their civil rights, although not too much, or too freely. Political freedoms are extended only to close friends and relatives of the leaders of the region's governments. The economy of the region is remarkably unremarkable, with members being neither powerhouses nor basket cases. The median tax rate of the region is 35%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be weighted more towards the private sector, with on average only 47% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce is a priority for governments, accounting for an average of 4% of public expenditure.

In The Sacred Realm education is done by a person's parents or by apprenticeships. Crime is low: the region enjoys well-equipped and well-funded police forces, coupled with efficient but fair judicial systems. Nations within the region have well armed militaries.

The administration departments of The Sacred Realm are all-consuming, soaking up budgets in aid of supporting a bureaucracy of millions, with an average of 13% of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Hospital patients are given credit checks upon passing through emergency rooms, as no government provision is made for healthcare in the region. Welfare is a large part of government expenditure, with denizens amply provided for. Governments in the region are devoutly religious.

In The Sacred Realm, Social inequality is total, with wealth being held by a tiny fraction of the region's populace. The landscapes of the region are covered in dense forests, rolling hills, and vast deserts.

The Creation Story

In the beginning, there was nothing. Suddenly, three golden goddesses descended upon the chaos that was Hyrule. The First Goddess was DIN, the Goddess of Power. The Second Goddess was Nayru, the God of Wisdom. The Third and final Goddess was Farore, the Goddess of Courage. Din created the barren Land, Nayru created the Laws of the Land, and Farore created life that would uphold those laws. With their labors completed, they returned to the heavens, and leaving behind the Triforce.

The triforce is said to grant the wish of those whom touch it.
