Geography
Empty Paradise is located on the Eastern Coast of The Seventh Bay, it's nearest nation being The Floating Island of The Sleeping God. It's borders have remained relatively similar since it's foundation. The nation also is bordered by a body of water to it's left, that being the bay.
History
The Colony of Empty Paradise was founded by freedom-seeking people of an unknown descent on a ship. About 150 colonists settled in this area, and after this, they finally tasted what freedom was. A paradise. Yet no one seemed to have been on this paradise beforehand, which seemed a bit odd, therefore its name, "Empty Paradise."
Skink Population
The skink population was so large, that it became a problem. Many people wanted to get rid of them, but Natives warned them of their sacred meaning to the future of the colony. Without them, the paradise could become a slum. In belief of this, skinks were left alone.
The Flag
The flag of Empty Paradise was created to symbolize freedom and unity. The statement in the center is Swedish (in symbolization of our newly founded heritage) for "Live Life Free." The symbol in the upper left corner symbolizes Empty Paradise's region, The Seventh Bay.
Holy Cartographer
Empty Paradise was elected by members of The Seventh Bay to be the Holey Kartôgrafür. Empty Paradise now is head of all map and land requests for the region. Stalinputingrad later took over the role after 3 maps made through delegates of our country.
Zombie Apocalypse
On the date of Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at 5:00 PM, a zombie infection swarmed the nation. Through proper cure, the strength of Empty Paradise and The Seventh Bay were able to defeat the zombie infection.

These nations were honored with a gift of gold in thanks. One million of the innocent and peaceful citizens died during this transpiration of events. A national holiday is now held honoring the people every year. This will be known as Z-Day, The Day of The Zombies.
Peaceful Communication Day
After a series of protest outbreaks in the (now former) capital of Regterkantia, one of which leading to a riot, killing an honorable officer, Mr. Benson, a new day has been created to be celebrated every year on November 20th. The purpose of this day is to promote peace in the country, as well as hold a conference with leading union members and protesting representatives, as well as government officials to discuss problems in a civilized manner, in opposition to violent protests.
SKOW Embassy
Empty Paradise had established an embassy with The Old-Timers of The Separated Kingdom of Whateverland of Other Nations in order to help them become a less corrupt and oppressive nation.
Regterkantian March
The capital city unexpectedly marched out of the country, one day, out of The Seventh Bay, and into The United Conservative Powers, as reported us by former citizen of Empty Paradise, Kyle Cryton. The citizens have left to create Regterkantia, a social extremist nation. After their infamous march, leaving only around one hundred citizens and an empty capitol building, a new capital was created and inhabited within an hour, Återhämtriot, a sly combination of the Swedish words for "patriot" and "recovery."
Under this event, a national holiday has been made for the country, Patriot day. This will take place on November 25th every year.
New Title
The title of Empty Paradise, in order to fit their ways of life, has changed to The Brilliant Moralistic Peoples of Empty Paradise.
Attacks in the Region and Stalinputian Nuclear Incident
PufnStuf was able to send out four of his best agents to investigate on the situations across the region after heaing of the anti-government attacks in The First Republic, The Soviet German Empire, and The United Boderland Empire. This led to one being pushed off The Floating Island of The Sleeping God due to the refusal to pay blood rites, and another one dying in the Stalinputian explosion by United Soviet States of African Russia. Empty Paradise contributed to the situation by sending Coast Guard fleets across the bay to watch the borders for suspicious activity.
Dilemma with METALS
Regarding the infamous violent outbreaks of the anti-governmental group METALS across the Western Coast, Empty Paradise was a signatory to the resolution by Stalinputingrad to end their reign. A year later, after notice from Kaiser Talent of The United Boderland Empire, they found 400 members of the group hiding out in an abandoned warehouse, awaiting word from their leader Wimbledimble of Stalinputingrad, who passed in the nuclear incident earlier that year. This lead to 3 other findings of the group across the region. These members are now in a maximum security building, or working on fixing the damage from the nuclear explosion.
