The West Pacific is a gargantuan region, with a massive community, boasting over 4071 member nations. The West Pacific is also feared by World Assembly members everywhere, with votes from 385 member nations.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of The West Pacific eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Nations in the region are considered developing democracies, with some political freedoms afforded to denizens. The economy of the region is remarkably unremarkable, with members being neither powerhouses nor basket cases. The median tax rate of the region is 30%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be weighted more towards the private sector, with on average only 40% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce within the region is an irrelevant annoyance to governments.
In The West Pacific, denizens are afforded a reasonable education, although funding is somewhat wanting. There is a very high level of crime within the region and law enforcement resources are stretched thin. Denizens have well-funded defense forces.
