The Kingdom of Alaizia (or simply Alaizia), formerly known as Divinity of Alaizia, is a kingdom comprising the whole of the island of Soren, the nearby islands as well as the former region of Bordi, now just a state province, and the region of Attika. The country is situated in the region of Mount Olympus, occupying a considerable part of the enormous holy mountain and the surrounding area.

With an estimated population of 1,751,000,000, and an estimated GDP of A23.00 trilion (NS$32.00 trilion), The Divinity of Alaizia is one of the most sizeable nations and economies in the region, and (according to a 2014 survey in Mount Olympus) is also the most environmentally pleasant, primarily due to decisive eco-friendly measures taken by Alaizia. The geography and climate of the country is diverse, and it is home to a wide variety of wildlife. The most populous and majestic city of Alaizia is its capital city of Echelon.

The nation previously known as the Divinity of Alaizia existed for about 12014 years before the Great Revolution, a movement that replaced the old divinity and established a new status quo under the new leadership of the Mazna Arnora, Azalon I. Azalon, the current Head of State of the country, holds the ultimate authority in his domain. The second-in-command is Crown Prince Zirkon. The country is seeking to expand its influence regionally and globally, and is an active member of the World Assembly, giving Alaizia's guideness to the world.

Due to the stunning beauty of its environment, the country's main industry is Tourism. Thousands of people from all across the region are visiting the inland and appreciate its greatness.

With a state-of-the-art technology and a well trained army of 41,765,805 men to back it up, it is no surprise that Alaizia is well-respected in Mount Olympus.

Etymology

Then nation's name comes from Alaizia, the original patron deity that is considered to have founded the state. Thus, the act of having a state named after him was being made as a honor.

Geography

The land area of Alaizia is approximately 17,187,837 square kilometers. The western eparchy of Attika is the largest province, at 5,995,400 sq kilometers. The smallest is Echelon, with an area of 127,800 sq kilometers.

The country occupies the entirety of the island of Soren and its outlying smaller islands. It also includes a considerable amount of Olympian lands, which are located west of Soren. Lastly, the Divinity of Alaizia has managed to establish a solid foothold at Bordi, which is located to the north of Soren.

Provinces

Alaizia is a state of eleven provinces, called 'eparchies' and one state district, the capital, Echelon. Below is a table showing key details about each of the twelve areas of Alaizia, derived from sources such as the Kingdom of Alaizia Census Bureau (KACB), Grand Navy (GN), Office of Economic Statistics (OES), and the Alaizia Geographic Survey (AGS).

Early history (10100 BC-10000 BC)

Not much is known about what existed on the island of Soren before Alaizia's coming. The myths say that one time he descended from Heaven to The World and chose this part of land which he embellished with rich fauna and flora. Then, he created its first inhabitants, his own race of human beings, the Alaizians.

Alaizia was satisfied with his creations. He then proceeded to teach the newfound humans the arts of literature, science, music and also gave them the ability to create things of their own. Around the year of 10000 BC (100 aa in Alaizian years), when the Alaizians began to significantly increase in number, he selected twelve of the most charismatic and able, brought them together and created The Council. He made it to be the first and foremost link between himself and Alaizians and entrusted its members to maintain the order and well-being of the rest of his people. Then, he ascended again.

The Spiritual Era (10000 BC-955)

From then onwards, the new state was named after its creator god, Alaizia.

Under the tutelage and guidance of The Council, the country experienced a 10955 years long era of great social and spiritual development. It is said that people of the time were incapable of mischievous things and reached high levels of being. It is wildly regarded as the most peaceful era in Alaizian history and the earthly equivalent of Heaven.

Industrial Revolution, invention of money and expansion (955-1000)

The spiritual and social development of Alaizia continued undisturbed. The lives of people were devoted in the preservation of a peaceful and spiritual way of life. Religion and education were given great attention, as well as morality.

In 955, a man now only known as Eruls accidentually discovered the possibilities of the usage of steam by witnessing one of the country's several thermal springs. Accompanied by his son Kreins, he looked for a way to invoke great amounts of heat so as to produce high-pressured steam. He found that source of heat in the island's mountains in the form of coal. Eruls created the first 4-wheeled small mobile, capable of moving alone via the kinetic energy generated from the high-pressured steam. Eruls designed an improved version of his previous automobile, named Erner (English, "Runner"). But before he could manage to create it, he died. His son Kreins decided to continue his father's work. He founded Alaizia's first ever private industry, named Kreins Automobiles, and after he perfected the prototype, he mass produced it into the public. Soon, more family-based companies emerged.

It was at this time that the invention of money began, in order to properly reward the inventors and workers that were busy producing public goods. The Council, intrigued by the capabilities of these new inventions, allowed and issued the circulation of the Ain. The Ain were coins made of iron that would be the new exchange instrument in citizens buys and sellings. Alaizians would from now on be rewarded with an amount of Ains dependant from their occupations and the amount of work produced. The art of metallurgy and textille manufacturing met great growth. Afterwards, this growth extended to agriculture by the creation of new tools such us the seed drill, the wheel-less plough, which contained iron parts, and the threshing machine. Alaizian companies started to expand into the nearby islands who were rich in minerals, much needed for their goods. Workers coming from Soren started to occupy the islands and creating subdivisions of their homeland's industries.

Further industrial development (1000-1100)

The industrial fervor of the country continued. Alaizian factories managed to create steel by melting together wrought iron with cast iron, gaining an ultimate product of a carbon-intermediate steel by the early 11th century. The people of Anardia specifically invented a type of furnace they used to make carbon steel at 1,802 °C (3,276 °F). This led to the construction of steel-made ships that were superbly more endurant from the previous iron ones. The invention of gunpowder for the making of necessary mine explosions gave the rise for new weapons and Militarism. Around the end of the 11th century, the State of Alaizia controlled the island of Soren and the majority of the nearby islands, including the, now called, Poris Isles.

The Modernization Era (1100-1993)

The next eight centuries the State of Alaizia progressed to high amounts of technological skill. Electricity was invented in 1176 by the Alaizian inventor Sersis Yivzana and soon its use spreaded all over the country. The Alaizian metallurgy also became enriched and perfected with the elaboration of many kinds of metals and alloys. The automobiles met great development in 1399 with the invention of gasoline by Alaizian scientists and after that new metal enhanced cars moving with gasoline began to appear in Alaizian cities. New engines were invented based on that type of fuel and these engines were used in ships and other means of transportation. In 1600, Alaizia could be called a modern country. Various types of automobiles could be seen on the streets. Trains were moving passengers and goods all across the country through the use of railways. Large ships sailed freely and safely on the seas surrounding Soren. The Alaizians had also recently conquered the skies: they had deviced big vehicles who resembled the form of birds who could fly. They were called tirnasa (eng. 'metal birds') and were beginning to be used extensively. The state's military had also been reconstructed into an elite state-of-the-art disciplined force. The use of semi-automatic weapons, such as pistols and rifles, as well as large metal vehicles that could unleash fire through long turrets provided the Alaizian military with strong firepower. Completing the main force was a very strong fleet of metal ships and, to a much lesser degree, a swarm of tirnasa airships.

However, around 1812, the extensive use of various pollutant fuels had left enviromentally Alaizia in a bad shape. The air in some areas had become polluted and unbearable to a human being. Diceases had become to grow across the land. People started to revolt in a number of areas with great industrious activity. It was at this point, that The Council decided to lead the economy to a different direction. Thus, in 1815, The Council lead the scientific search for a new, much less pollutious and equally strong, type of fuel. Great amounts of money poured into this research but to no avail. Suddenly, in 1818, The Council announced the founding of a new type of fuel in the form of a blue crystal. Its members claimed then that it had been sent to them through great prayer by their, long forsaken, God as a reward for his nation's enormous achievements. It was said that this blue crystal could provide tens of thousands times the power of the current fuels. The people rejoiced and announced this particular day an annual day of celebration. It was called the New Day or the Day of the Blue Crystal. With that new source of power into use, the State of Alaizia truely entered a new area of innovations and brilliance. However, the Alaizian's pride also grew.

Invasion of Bordi (1995)

Around the year of 1995, Alaizians found themselves in position of great power. Technology had moved on very far, and its achievements could seem to the regular eye as miracles. Materialism and Imperialism had started to show, and all that was needed was a spark to heat things up. And that spark came when the People's Republic of Bordi refused to recognise the Alaizian dominance of the Sorenian Sea and did't agree with the The Council to order the country's ships to pay thrice the amount of their original tribute to Alaizian docks. Alaizia immediatly responded with an open conflict against Bordi. The Alaizian forces led by General Linsus managed to attack the capital city of Bordi, Grun, in an effective slaughter that was called the Red Night. After that, the Bordian military had either being crushed or surrendered and the whole country was assimilated by the State of Alaizia.

Mount Olympus and new territories (2000)

In the year of 2000, Alaizia had managed to establish its rule into almost the whole of Sorenian Sea. Recognising the power that Alaizia possessed, the Olympian kingdom that belonged to Zeus approached Alaizia in order to convince the country to enter his region. Alaizian diplomats, instructed by The Council, refused to join the region unless Alaizia acquired more lands to the west. Specifically, the rich lands of Attika. After much consideration, Zeus finally accepted the deal and the State of Alaizia joined the region of Mount Olympus.

The Great Revolution (2014-2015)

In the winter of 2014, the State of Alaizia was a powerful country full of potential. But, Alaizians at this time had become selfish and relentless in their thirst for umlimited progress. People stopped to pray to their god, and all they cared about was power. The Council, displeased with how things started to appear, declared the matters of State and Clergy inseparable since the Clergy was the State. The Council issued a law declaring the following of religion as a mandatory activity and attempted by force to return the country and its people to their ancient, much more spiritual days. The people revolted and, as a result, clashed with the military. Civil war soon emerged. From one side there was The Council and their military and from the other the common people. At first, the people were leaderless and their movements ended in bloodshed. Many civilian's lives were lost and the situation started to become desperate. It was at this moment, that a leader emerged from the ranks of the people. A son of an Anardian merchant, Azalon. Through his charismatic persona and military background, he united and organised the people into an effective force specialized in guerilla tactics. Azalon also managed to gain the support of many other industrious men and promised them that this revolution would also be beneficial for them. Supported by new equipment from the industrialists' industries, the people's movement led by Azalon started to press on into the Alaizian capital, Echelon. The Council's forces made their final stand in The Battle for Future. After much bloodshed, Azalon's forces managed to overrun The Council's troops through their sheer numeral advantage and determination, as well as with the use of their new military equipment. In the early summer of 2015, Echelon fell into the hands of the revolutionaries. The war was over.

Change in government (2015)

Azalon decided to spare the lives of the 12 members of The Council, but decided that he had to change the current form of government. Thus, in 1st July 2015, Azalon was crowned king of Alaizia by members of the council, something considered as an act of humilation towards the previous rule. Azalon took the title of the Mazna Arnora (English, "Great Leader") and declared himself the supreme ruler of the State. From then on, the reign of Azalon I began.

As of the arrival of the year 2015 and onward, The Kingdom of Alaizia has decided on the taking of specific measures for dealing with the various problems and general chaos of the post-war community. The Alaizian government has insisted on implementing the infamous "Empowerment Tax" law, which dictates that all subjects of the kingdom pay around 91.5% of their income amount. The government declared also that the state's de facto religion, Enlightment, won't change but also that religious freedom of all the nation's citizens will be protected. With the official neglectment of unions, Alaizia is maintaining its pro-free market policy and the nation seems to pass through a transition phase.
