Eric Maleinos, 41st Duke of Cappadochia, KP PC (16 September 1796 – 22 March 1861), styled Earl of Kòrama between 1820 and 1847, was a Diadochian Prásinoi Party politician.

Background

Cappadochia was the son of Bardas Maleinos, 40th Duke of Cappadochia, and Lady Anna. He gained the courtesy title of Earl of Kòrama when his father succeeded as Duke of Cappadochia in 1820.

Political career

On 4 May 1834 Cappadochia, then Earl of Kòrama, was elected to the House of Koiná. He was also made a member of the Privy Council of Diadochia in 1842, and served as Sakellarios between 1842 and 1846. The year after that he was summoned to the House of Archontes through a writ of acceleration in his father's junior title of Baron Koloneia, and served briefly as Captain of the Excubitors Guard between August and October 1846. The following year he succeeded his father in the dukedom of Cappadochia.

Cappadochia was made Master of the Horse in 1851. He later served as Megas Kouropalatēs between 1858 and 1859. He was invested as a Knight of the Panagia in 1848.
