Ploíarchos tou Áloga

Ploíarchos tou Áloga is the superintendent of the Imperial Stables and the realm's imperial stud farms. The position is the Diadochian equivalent of the Master of the Horse.

History

During its earliest form the office was responsible all the imperial stables located in the capital, Atlantis and for the imperial horse ranches located outside the capital.

Duties

The Ploíarchos tou Áloga is responsible for organizing all transportation for the Imperial Court of Diadochia, both by car – and for ceremonial occasions – by horse and carriage. He has overall responsibility for The Imperial Mews.

The Ploíarchos tou Áloga accompanies the Emperor on all of his trips and sits close to him at all times during state occasions.

During imperial processions and other ceremonial events the Ploíarchos tou Áloga and the Prōtostratōr escort the Emperor through the streets of Atlantis.
