The Communist Region is a enormous region, with a very large community of 108 member nations. The Communist Region also has a very large representation in the World Assembly, with 51 member nations.
In The Communist Region, denizens enjoy their civil rights, although not too much, or too freely. Nations in the region are considered developing democracies, with some political freedoms afforded to denizens. Economies in the region tend to be stronger than average. Inhabitants of the region ultimately pay most of their earnings to the government, as the median tax rate is 80%, or more! The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the public sector, with on average only 12% of the economy comprising the private sector. Commerce is a priority for governments, accounting for an average of 4% of public expenditure.
Education is a priority for governments throughout The Communist Region, with ample funding being provided and teachers enjoying a great deal of support. There is a very high level of crime within the region and law enforcement resources are stretched thin. Denizens have well-funded defense forces. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 4% of total government budgets.
Throughout The Communist Region, governments find themselves confused, with administration departments being so bloated that staff do not know what other staff are doing, with an average of over 10% of government budgets being devoted to Administration.
