Abanoira

Abanoira is a medium region, with a thriving community with 20 nations and without any World Assembly representation.

The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of Abanoira eagerly dismissed concerns of oppressation. Nations in the region are considered developing democracies, with some political freedoms afforded to denizens. Economies in the region tend to be stronger than average, although most are not big enough to be considered heavyweights. The median tax rate of the region is 42%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economy of nations in the region tends to be weighted more towards the public sector, with on average only 46% of the economy comprising the private sector. Stoking commercial activity is a major priority for governments, accounting for an average of 11% of public expenditure.

Abanoira does not prioritize education in any meaningful way. There is a very high level of crime within the region and law enforcement resources are stretched thin. Denizens have small defense forces. Public transport is considered dirty and trampish in the region. You would be mad to use it.

Throughout Abanoira, governments find themselves confused, with administration departments being so bloated that staff do not know what other staff are doing, with an average of over 11% of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 4% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Spirituality is a moderate priority of governments within the region, with1% of government budgets being devoted to Spirituality.

In Abanoira, Social inequality is total, with wealth being held by a tiny fraction of the region's populace. The landscapes of the region are no longer recognizable as such, the atmosphere being unbreathable and the only jungles being made of concrete.
