New Western Atlantic is a large region, with a bustling and busy community, numbering 103 nations and 21 World Assembly Members (Approximately 20-21% of the region).

In New Western Atlantic, denizens scatter at the sight of strangers and are careful to keep carefully blank faces when approached. Political freedoms are extended to many, but are limited in select nations. The economic activity for each nation is to be idolized, with several nations holding a perfect "100" rating on their economy. Inhabitants rarely are visited by the tax collector, and the region boasts a median tax rate of 23%. The economies of nations in the region tend to be dominated by the private sector, with on average 39% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce is low priority for governments, accounting for an average of 5% of public expenditure, although commerce is generally seen as a source of tax revenue.

Denizens of the New Western Atlantic are fairly educated, with rampant literacy rates ranging anywhere between 78-99%. Criminality is rife within the region, with law enforcement struggling to cope. Governments allocate a meagre 8%, on average, of their budgets to law and order. Denizens tend to have a medium-to-large defense forces. Public transport is an afterthought, with only 1% of total government budgets in the region being devoted to it.

Governments in New Western Atlantic find themselves in a constant state of affairs, with some co-ordination, only 3% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 6% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. Welfare in the region is minimal, averaging around 4%, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Spirituality is a moderate priority of governments within the region, with 8% of government budgets being devoted to it.

Social inequality varies amongst the nations within New Western Atlantic, with nations such as the United Dark Republic holding a respectable 8.4 differential, on average.

Government

The regional government for the New Western Atlantic is fairly divided, with Constructivists controlling the Delegacy and the General Assembly. Whereas the Cabinet finds itself hung with three of the six MPs being Activists, two are Constructivists, and one is a Liberal-Democrat. It is also worth noting that the RNP (Regional Nationalist Party) has some influence over the region's political realm, seeing as the polls place them at 13-18% of the region favoring them over the two mainstream parties and the Lib-Dem party.

Election polling in the New Western Atlantic predicts some changes in the government's makeup. Last time the Constructivists were leading in the polls by a comfortable 5-8% over the opposition party, Activist. Recent polling has been showing the Activists leading ever-so-slightly, on average the numbers are 35-33% in favor of the Activists. The Lib-Dems have also made up lost ground as they are seeing a slight jump in polling, last election they were favored by 6-8%, they currently stand at anywhere between 13-17%.
