The IX Olympic Winter Games were an international multi-sport event held in the city of Arçon, Saugeais, and were the ninth winter edition of the Olympic Games.

Venues

Three clusters of venues were utilized and connected through the Arçon Transit system

  • Downtown Cluster: Arrowpoint Place (ceremonies), the Arçon Olympic Arena (ice hockey), and the Arçon Olympic Oval (long track speed skating).
  • Olympic Village Cluster: Olympic Village, Medal Plaza, Arçon National Ice Dome (short track speed skating), Arçon Curling Center (curling).
  • Forest Cluster: Arçon National Ski Resort (alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, ski jumping, and snowboarding), which is located within the Saugeais National Forest (biathlon, cross country skiing); also site of the bobsleigh and luge track.
