Alexandrea Bancey
Alexandra Aomie Kathryn Bancey (born 21 April 1980) is a Montegonion-Kingstonion singer-songwriter, philanthropist and occasional actor. Born in Freidmans, Neo Montego, Bancey moved to Vegas, Neo Kingston in 1986 at the age of six and came to prominence after the release of her first studio album Fun and Games in 2007.
Fun and Games has sold over 4 million copies. Lead single New Page spent 43 weeks on the Hot 100, a record for a debut single, and has sold over 10 million copies after peaking at #7. Single Measure Out moved over 5 million copies. Her second album K.O., released in 2010, topped the Billboard 200 for eleven weeks, the longest stint since 1989. It has sold over 9 million copies. Single When I Dream of You sold over 7 million copies, single K.O. sold over 6 million copies while singles Music Box and Precious sold over 3 million copies each. The album K.O. and its singles produced four Audi Awards.
Her third studio album My Life was released on September 26, 2013, debuted at number one and has so far recorded sales of over 4 million. This album has set a record with four of its singles debuting in the top 10 of the Hot 100. Lead single Fire debuted at #10, peaked at #4 and has sold over 4 million copies. Second single Speak of Love also debuted at #10, peaked at #2 and has sold over 6 million copies. Third single Dominance debuted at #3, the first top 5 debut since 2010, peaked at #2 and has sold over 7 million copies. Fourth single Puppeteer debuted at #9, peaked at #4, is currently #8 and has sold over 4 million copies. Fifth and final single Wiped Clean will be released in 2014. My Life and its singles have been nominated for seven awards at the 49th Annual Audi Awards. Single sales have totaled over 19 million.
Alexandrea Bancey has sold over 19 million albums and 70 million singles for total sales of over 90 million with six Audi Awards and nineteen Audi nominations. She is one of the best selling artists in Neo Kingston of the 21st century.
