Alexiandran-Himalli War

The Alexiandran-Himalli War is an ongoing conflict that is taking place within Greysteel. It began on March 9, 2014, when Alexiandra issued a formal declaration of war upon Himallistan in response to the bombing of Lockbourne international airport on March 8.

After the initial declaration of war by Alexiandra, other nations were quick to enter the fray - New Embossia, Ganzeland, Nerotysia, and Nitom swiftly joined the war against Himallistan. Other nations, namely the Greater Vakolicci Haven, Zammora and New Swabtobia, have chosen to declare their support for Himallistan.

Since March 9, mass mobilisation has taken place across Greysteel. Alexiandran fleets were reported to be massing off the coast of Delae, with Nerotysian and Vakolicci ships having been spotted near international waters. Diplomatic wrangling continues, with President Michael Winter of Alexiandra even loosely suggesting that the Greater Vakolicci Haven should be condemned by the World Assembly's Security Council.

Many experts currently argue that the conflict is nothing more than a reincarnation of ancient differences between Greysteel's eastern and western divides.
