Arthur I is the first king of the Bourdois's dynasty. After the Prussia-Lothemesien's war, he becomes the king of Lothemesien on the 7th March 1871 after the treaty of Carlence. He was elected by the people and won the elections against Nicolas II and his step-brother the general Fridrich van Bouten who died before the election on 19 February 1871.
