Asclepius Worldwide Health Organization

The Asclepius Worldwide Health Organization (AWHO) is an organization created on 6 February 2017 by the former Iweran Federation and The Altean Federation of Cherkasov. It is a non-profit institution working to eradicate completely the incurable diseases of today and tomorrow. The organization is international: it has three headquarters on Earth I and Earth II being the headquarters of the various branches of the organization: AWHO Werreales Earth I Branch Headquarters, AWHO Werreales Earth II Headquarters and AWHO Cherkasov Branch Headquarters.
The AWHO is under the tutelage of the the Imperial Government of Werrales and the Federal Government of Cherkasov. Nevertheless, the organization enjoys great independence. The AWHO is headed by a board made up of the three directors of the different branches of the organization. These are appointed every three months by the ministries in charge of their branch. For example, the directors of Werreales I and Werreales Earth II Branches will be appointed by the Werric Imperial Ministry of Health, while the director of the Cherkasov Branch will be appointed b the Federal Government of Cherkasov.
The AWHO has significant funds allocated by its various members and partners to conduct research on incurable diseases and pandemics, to provide authorities with adequate medical treatment and equipment in sufficient quantities to finance its costly and sophisticated facilities. The AWHO, although a non-profit organization, accepts donations from states, corporations, associations and individuals. For example The Guardian and Wagon Master of The Democratic Nation of Unovia is known as an important financial partner of the AWHO.
The research conducted by AWHO aims to create effective quality treatments, vaccines, medical equipment and prevention campaigns. As far as pandemics are concerned, AWHO's role is to anticipate their start and to put in place specific protocols in order to quickly stop their expansion. Since research activities are a major part of the organization's responsibilities, the organization relies on the international scientific community, which provides it with renowned scientists. AWHO is involved during the pandemic cases of Z-Viruses (ZDays).
