Bryennios family

The Bryennios family is a aristocratic noble family of Diadochia founded by Alexios Bryennios. The Head of the Family is Menelaos Bryennios, Duke of Nicomedia. The first Duke was Kostas Bryennios who was awarded the title by Empress Irene I in 885.
