Dalassenos family

The Dalassenos family is a aristocratic noble family of Diadochia founded by Damian Dalassenos. The Head of the Family is Damian Dalassenos, Duke of Ellis. The first Duke was Damian Dalassenos who was awarded the title by Empress Irene I in 864. The family name derives from the family's ancestral seat Dalassa Castle in Dalassa.
