Dance Party (Darkmanian: Däncër Pari) is a joke political party in Darkmania, founded in 2010 by famous comedian Dënÿss Dërmas in order to service the political spectrum of Darkmanian politics. They are famous for advocating for more rain, greener roads by literally painting the roads green, ban on clowns, making sure they do something and banning "banning things". They are infamous in Darkmanian politics due to their satire aimed at the political elite. Their sole representative on the Särterhüs is BoBo, the sad clown, who is famous for wearing his clown outfit doing sessions.
History
Foundation
On 28th August 2010, a segment of the popular late-night show "Lëst Kvïld mëit Dënÿss Dërmas", Dënÿss announced, in the end, their intention to make a political party before the 10th September deadline to register in order to "make the grey politics colourfull with utter nonsense." The party was officially registered on 5th September. Doing the campaign, their main slogan was "We Want Rain", and was the 5th most popular party according to the polls. In the end, they got 10 000 votes.
