Divide and rule

Divide and rule is a Diadochian prime time television soap opera that has aired from 1977. The show centres around the wealthy Chrysanthopoulos family and their counterparts the wealthier Christakis family, and their corresponding companies, the oil business, Chrysanthopoulos-Messene Oil and the conglomerate Christakis Enterprises. Divide and Rule is based in the real life city of Messene, Diadochia. From 1981 to 1986 Divide and Rule was the #1 show in Diadochia. The show is known for its wild cat fights between its leading ladies and its outrageous storylines. The show has had about 38 seasons, with over 900 episodes by early 2015.
