EIC-Cossack Trade

The East Imperial Company of New Equestria is a major producer of spices, tea, coffee, and other goods. The Khanate’s Finance Ministry opened trade with the EIC on December 27th, 2018 Standard Calendar. Printed below is a copy of the letter accepting trade, sent to the Khanate:


Your Excellency, -

The East Imperial Company of the Holy Empire of New Equestria under Imperial Charter from Emperor Elise I, in the Year of Our Lord anno domini One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy, with the full Political Authority granted it under Acts and Provisions of Emperor Elise II, does hereby agree to and accept the opening of Facilities at the Location(s) of Kalir, Kalir Province and Roch, Vaishalle Province in Cossack Khanate amounting to;

1 Office located in receiving Nation Capitol City Selvik to act as the Headquarters for East Imperial Company Operations in the newly established Trade Region, 2 Offices to serve the Purpose of assisting East Imperial Company Operations in the newly established Trade Region, and 3 Warehouses to serve the Purpose of housing, storing, and securing the various Goods and Things brought into the Trade Region.

The aforementioned Facilities shall be opened with the Understanding that;

  • A minor Royalty of 5% will be paid by the Government of Cossack Khanate to the East Imperial Company for all Transactions made with the Goods and Products stored in East Imperial Company Warehouses
  • The East Imperial Company shall engage in Independent Negotiations with local Cossack spice farmers to aid and expand Company procurement Operations
  • All Facilities opened shall be unconditionally the Property of East Imperial Company, which will maintain full Jurisdiction over Management and Administration of Operations except in Cases of Legal Issue, which will then be solved under Joint Direction of the Governments of New Equestria and Cossack Khanate.

East Imperial Company Workers shall travel by Ship to the Trade Region for the Purpose of constructing the agreed upon Facilities. Their Arrival is to be the 4th of January, in the Year of Our Lord anno domini 1819 under the Imperially recognized Calendar. Construction of Facilities shall be done under the Expense and Compensation of the East Imperial Company.
