General elections

General elections in Neo Kingston are held following a dissolution of Parliament. Traditionally, general elections included the election of all of the Members of Parliament (MPs) who form the House of Representatives. Following the Senate Reform Act of 2016, 95 of the 100 Senators who sit in the Senate are also elected with the other 5 being appointed by the President.
