Imperial Standard of Lyndonia (865-1458)

The Empire of Lyndonia, is an ancient civilization that lasted from 983 B.C. until the Union of the Two Crowns in 1458. It was formed in prehistoric Flauxier Continent and existed until the late Middle Ages. As empires of old crumbled down, new ones formed and succeeded. The uncharted lands of Flauxier was a perfect spot for the formation of an empire, out of the eyes of the Chinese, European and Ottoman powers. The Lyndonian Empire started as a confederation of thirteen tribes, following a primitive form of monarchy. These tribes knew about the world surrounding them while the rest of world did not even know the tribes existed until the height of the Empire in the 3rd Century. The Empire led its own Renaissance, similar to what European civilizations experienced. Science, philosophy, law, military tactics, and medicine during the time of Grand Duke Aurick II. Arts and culture flourished during the reign of Grand Duchess Tibelda I. Lyndonia reached its territorial peak during the reign of Grand Duchess Alarica I, great granddaughter of Grand Duchess Tibelda I. Only two dynasties ruled Lyndonia since its formation in the 10th century B.C. - the House of Bertram and the House of Heidenreich. These two houses would later intermarry and espouse pure royal blood rule. Lyndonia was absorbed into the newly-created United Kingdom of Lyndonia and Montefalco when Grand Duke Bennet I signed the Declaration of Truce and Union in 1458, along with King Liam VIII of Montefalco. As per historical and archaeological records, Lyndonia existed as a nation-state for 2,440 years.
