Count Friedrich von Heilendorf (1902-1988) was the son of Count Heinrich von Heilendorf.

He used to be a popular bachelor in Markund, well-known for his parties and affaires. However, in 1939 he settled down and married Countess Franziska von Reitzenstein. They had two daughters: Victoria (born 1941) and Theodora (born 1943).

Friedrich inherited the Heilendorf estate in 1940 and devoted all his time to it. His wife died in 1955 and he never remarried. He led a quiet life as a farmer until the 1970s, when he announced his decision to leave his estate to his eldest daughter, instead of passing it to his cousin Heinrich, the next male Heilendorf. In Brasland, tradition stipulates that ancestral estates go to the male line of a family, unless it becomes extinct (in which case it can pass to a woman). By his decision, Friedrich broke with a traditional unwritten rule of the Braslander nobility. Heinrich sued him, but the civil court ruled in Friedrich's favor. However, most of the nobility boycotted the Count and his elder daughter for years, to show their opposition.

The Count died in 1988.
