Gerhard Maximilian Driehaus (16 July 1893 – 18 September 1914) was a Rotgeheiman Unterscharführer (Corporal) in the Verteidigungsstaffel. He is notable for his actions during the Battle for Bellock in the Northern Territory War. As a leader of a fireteam in the headquarters company of the 13th VS-Mountain Division Dinslaken, Driehaus directed his troops to continue laying suppressive fire to cover the retreat of senior officers in the area. His leadership and abilities in combat ensured the safe evacuation of several key division personnel. Driehaus was later killed while his fireteam retreated from the front line. He was posthumously awarded Rotgeheim's highest military honor, the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.
