Great Zeronian War

The Great Zeronian War, known in the Anthran nations as the War of Tervalian Aggression, or the Human-Anthros War, was a global war lasting from 1725-1732. It involved 7 nations in Zero - including all of the great powers - eventually forming two opposing alliances: the Anthran Nations and the Tervalian Coalition. It was the most widespread war in Zero's history, and directly involved more than 100 million people from more than 28 countries. This war applied the concept of a "total war", meaning that major participants threw their entire economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities behind the war effort, erasing the distinction between civilian and military resources. Marked by mass deaths of civilians, including the use of rocket barrages, air power, Faunus persecutions, the strategic bombing of enemy industrial and/or population centers, and the first use of nuclear weapons in combat, it resulted in more than 56 million fatalities, making the war the deadliest conflict in Zero's history.
