The Old City is the finacial and administrative district of Harran. It's the wealthiest and populous district of the country. It was founded in the high middle ages by the moors planing to invade the Sicily, and was lter colonized by arabs of the Ottoman Empire, Portuguese europeans and the last remnant moors of the iberian peninsula.
