Founded in the 577th year of the Astograthian calendar, they have traditionally worn an all-red kit as their home colours. They have played at the 63,000-capacity Ituraitz Sporting Ground since 586, sharing it with fierce rivals Ituraitz Victory, and were founding members of the Astograthian First Division in 634; they are one of three Astograthian clubs to have played every season of the First Division. Ituraitz FC hold many long-standing rivalries, most notably with Ituraitz Victory, as well as with Ximun Orieta FC, Athletic Club Olarria and Royal Rumiatzi. The club have also fostered a cordial but intense international rivalry with SK Franz Josef City of Polar Islandstates.

Since the formation of the First Division, Ituraitz FC have established themselves as a major force in Astograthian and international football. Domestically, they have won 9 First Division titles and 6 Royal Cups; internationally they have won the UICA Champions’ Cup, Globe Cup and Super Cup, as well as the Rushmore Copa de Campeones, the Aéropag Football Invitational and four editions of the Ides of March Cup. In the run-up to the final of Champions’ Cup 50, Ituraitz FC were named Astograthian Club of the Century by the UICA.
