Johannes von Henslen

Count Johannes von Henslen (1902-1975) was a Braslander diplomat and courtier. He was the son of Count Burchard VIII von Henslen.

In 1927 he married the young Princess Amelia, daughter of Prince Engelbert von Altenhaus and Princess Gabriella of Brasland. They had four children: Max von Henslen (born 1929), Ludwig (born 1931), Gabriella (1933-1935) and Auguste (born 1936; married to Prince Paul of Brasland).

Johannes served as Court Chamberlain to King Frederick V, and he was later appointed as Ambassador to the Westbund.

He died in 1975.
