Karl, Count von Henslen (1923-2007) was a Braslander nobleman.

He was born in 1923 as the eldest son and heir of Count Ulrich X von Henslen and Countess Larissa von Reuthen.

He followed the traditional path for noblemen: he went to school at Rottendorf College, then served in the Royal Guards and later studied Agriculture in order to manage his family's lands.

In 1952 he married Princess Laure, the youngest daughter of King Frederick V. They had nine children: Anna (born 1953), Karl Friedrich (born 1954), Ulrich (born 1956; unmarried), Caroline (born 1958; unmarried), Elisabeth (born 1961), Lorenz (born 1964), Georg (born 1966), Maximilian (born and died 1969) and Larissa (1974-2008).

During the republican regime (1994-2008), the Henslens were very active in the opposition. Count von Henslen was imprisoned between 2001 and 2004 for this. His health declined and after his release he and his wife lived at a small cottage near their ruined estate, where he died in 2007.
