Karolina Kligenberg (Polish: Karolina Klygynbyrka) formerly HRH The Empress Karolina, Empress of Poland, Grand Duchess of Ruthenia, Queen of Lithuania and all Dominions is the current President of the Polish Republic in Poland-Lithuania. She came to the office of President without an election, but as a mandate from the 2014 constitutional crisis, where she brokered a deal between the Ruthenian, Latvian, Estonian and Belorussian leaders to transition from monarchy to a federal republic.

Childhood and Education

Kligenberg was born in Wilanow Palace, Warsaw on 22 September 1984 to Queen Regent Marlena and King Janusz. She was born to be a royal, along with her siblings Fryderyk (25), Magdalena (16) and Matej (14). It became apparent from a young age that Kligenberg was gifted with a musical talent, much like Fryderyk and as such, Marlena began to teach her daughter the violin. After realizing that she would quickly need a more advanced teacher, Marlena took her daughter to the Wieniawski School of Music in Krakow, for weekly lessons in violin from the virtuoso master Henry Wieniawski IV. She would later go to the Fryderyk Chopin School of Music at the University of Warsaw, and further her studies into a bachelor's degree by age 17. She would achieve a master's degree in violin performance at the University of Kaldoon's Conservatory of Music in Os Corelia

Virtuoso Career

Kligenberg and brother Fryderyk travelled to Os Corelia to further enhance their studies of music, and while there gave several recitals on the violin and piano respectively. Both royals were offered several recording contracts and have played with the most prestigious orchestras in the European Union, including the St. Regina Symphony Orchestra, the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the St. Phillips Symphony, and the St. Dominico Baroque Orchestra. Becoming famous in her own right, Kligenberg signed a contract with Polksie Grammofon, giving herself a solo career that would be one of the most famous in classical music. She is still an active performer.

Political Career

Kligenberg's political career has been short, and as a representative of King Janusz's monarchy since 2012, she was used constantly as a diplomat for Poland-Lithuania. She gained valuable foreign policy experience, and was written into inheritance of the throne of Poland-Lithuania. Soon after, Janusz abdicated the throne and Kligenberg was crowned the Empress of Poland and various titles. Soon after, however, Kligenberg would face a crisis in which the fate of the nation and the potential break up of the country was held hostage for a transition to a full democracy with no royal association. Kligenberg agreed, but argued that she would be the one to become the first President and guide the nation into its first elections. The crisis was resolved with the 2014 Polish Constitution and as such, Kligenberg would be the first President of the Polish Republic.

Political beliefs

President Kligenberg's administration has been founded to bring national unity at a time when the fledgling republic needed it, after severing ties with a monarchical system that lasted a nearly a millennium. Her personal beliefs about politics is that she should serve the people to the best of her ability. As an independent, she is not tied to any political ideology, and instead has found a hybrid of many different ideologies to provide her compass. She is, however, passionate about providing equality for all ethnic groups of Poland-Lithuania.

Personal Life

Kligenberg has not dated anyone as of late, though she was rumoured to have been interested in Duxburian Kyle Nyquist. She has stated before that finding a partner in life and having children would be "the next step in life, after fulfilling her duties as a representative of Poland-Lithuania.

As of October 2014, Kligenberg was married to former Secretary of Internal Affairs Ian Syzmanowski, making her official name Karolina Kligenberg-Syzmanowska. She is the oldest daughter of Janusz I and Marlena, the last reigning monarch and queen regent of Poland-Lithuania. Her siblings include Fryderyk Kligenberg (25), Magdalena Kligenberg (16), and Matej Kligenberg (14).
