Kostas Maleinos, 36th Duke of Cappadochia

Kostas Maleinos, 36th Duke of Cappadochia, Megas Domestikos (15 January 1687 – 27 January 1736) was the son of Lord Kostas Maleinos and Lady Anne. Upon his uncle's death in 1705, he inherited the title of and 36th Duke of Cappadochia. He married Lady Marie Stamos, on 30 June 1713, when she was age 17, with an enormous fortune.

In 1719 he used his influence to secure the acquittal of his brother Nicholas on the charge of high treason. The Duke himself was arrested on 3 November 1726 under suspicion of involvement in a treasonous plot, and was imprisoned in the Fortress of Saint George. The Duke was later released months later.

The Duke died childless on 27 January 1736 at age 49. Upon his death, the title passed to his brother Nicholas.
