Lieutenants of the County of Ludovicia

The Lieutenant of the County of Ludovicia is the representative of the king in the County of Ludovicia. Usually the charge is occupied by local nobles, officers retired military or honorable. Both men and women are eligible for the assignment. The place is representing the monarch but not equivalent to the rank of governor, because the Lord Lieutenant has virtually no direct government entrusted the area and is not responsible for the enactment of local ordinances in the name of the king. Once he had the power to summon the local militia in the service of the state if he had requested from the regional governor, but today collects instances of municipalities and to bring them to conoscena of the Regional Council as well as having ceremonial duties as a representative of the sovereign in their own county.
