Line of succession to the Diadochian throne

The line of succession to the Diadochian throne is the ordered sequence of all those people elgible to succeed to the Imperial Throne of Diadochia.

Eligibility

The rights of succession are regulated by various rules and requirements known as the Imperial and Royal House Laws. Up until 1983, the succession was male-preference cognatic primogeniture. But after the Succession Act of 1983, Absolute primogeniture, where the eldest child regardless of gender succeeds to the throne.

There are several requirements for eligibility to the Imperial Throne, including:

  • The Dynast must be of the Diadochian Orthodox Church
  • The Dynast must be of a legitimate descendant of a legitimate Imperial line.
  • The Dynast must marry with the consent of the Emperor and the Imperial Parliament or be excluded from the succession with their descendants.
