List of Diadochian imperial residences

This is a list of imperial residences that the Diadochian Imperial Family inhabit or have resided in over the years. The Imperial palaces range from Imperial Crown Palaces held by the state to privately owned palaces and villas owned by the Emperor or other members of the Imperial Family.

The Diadochian Imperial Family traditionally occupy different imperial residences during different seasons of the year.

Imperial Crown Palaces

Atlantis Imperial Palace

The Atlantis Imperial Palace is the official imperial residence in Atlantis. It is the Komnenos-Palaiologos family's principal winter residence. The Imperial Palace contains 2,500 rooms.


Cassandreia Palace

The Cassandreia Palace is now largely used as the headquarters of various departments and it used as a museum. The Palace is only used on certain occasions. The Palace now houses many members of the Imperial Family. The Palace is one of the largest palaces in Diadochia with over 3,000 rooms

Blachernae Palace

The Blachernae Palace contains 1,500 rooms and is one of the favorite residence of the Imperial family especially during the summer months. The Blachernae Palace is known as the Imperial Showpiece and the Diadochian Versailles. The Palace gardens are extraordinary. The Palace contains an orangery, and is situated near a spring. The Palace Chapel is St. Mary of Blachernae.

Bellehof Palace

The Bellehof Palace is a palace complex surrounded by lush pleasure gardens. The Palace is located in Atlantis, Diadochia, and was laid out on the orders of Eric III of Diadochia known as the Great. These Palaces and gardens are sometimes referred as the "Diadochian Versailles", along with the Blachernae Palace.

Sophienborg Palace

The Sophienborg Palace is located in the town of Kaiservilla, 18 miles southeast of Atlantis, Diadochia. The Palace serves as one of the main summer residences of the Emperors of Diadochia, alternating with the Blachernae Palace, which is much closer to the capital.

Augousta Palace

The Augousta Palace is the private residence of the Diadochian imperial family. It is located in Kaiservilla. Unlike its neighbor the huge Sophienborg Palace it is a private residence. The Palace was originally built in the late 16th century.

Komnenos Castle

The Komnenos Castle has long been associated with the Imperial Family and the Monarchy. It is only fitting that the castle bears the name of the reigning dynasty the Komnenos-Palaiologos family. The Komnenos castle is the Emperor's official country residence when he is not in the capital and not in Blachernae.


Loutra Castle

Loutra Castle is a huge Castle located in Therma Loutra. The Castle serves as the official residence of the Emperor of Diadochia when he is in residence at Therma Loutra. The Castle was formally the residence of the King of Magaria (the Magyars), a title now held by the Emperor of Diadochia.

Pella Castle

Pella Castle is the official residence of the King of Moesia, title now held by the Emperor of Diadochia. The Moesian Crown Jewels are stored inside the castle and used when the Emperor is in residence and is acting as King of Moesia. The Castle is a huge complex of Palaces, Churches and ceremonial halls.

Hieria Palace

The first Palace that was built here was built by Emperor Cassander III in the 6th century. The original palace served as a summer residence for many monarchs and survived until the 13th century as a residence before it was burned down. The Present Hieria Palace was built by Emperor Eric II three centuries later in the 1550s, the most recent section of the Palace was built Irene II and Demetrius VI, Co Empress and Co Emperor in the 1590s.

Mangana Palace

The Mangana Palace Complex consisting of two baroque palaces (the Upper and Lower Manganas was started by Empress Zoe in the 1760s.

The Mangana Palace complex contains a Orangery, Palace Stables, and extensive gardens. The Upper Mangana is the residence of many members of the Imperial Family, while the Lower Mangana houses the Emperor's Gallery, the public art gallery that displays and exhibits art from the Imperial Collection of Diadochia.
