Max von Leibert (17 may 1861 at Montpellier - 20 december 1953 at Ludovicia) was an historian and archeologist, professor of ludovician archeology at the Royal University of Ludovicia.

Biography

He began his studies at the Royal University of Ludovicia where he graduated with a degree in archeology which incorporated the Alan Nashville studies from which he was always very fascinated and influenced.

Like his predecessor, he temporally however had no way of knowing, was inserted in the context of discussions on the historical origins of the first human settlements on the island of Ludovicia and, determined to prove what is expressed in the theories of Nashville fifty first, required government funding to conduct excavations in the same areas where they already Nashville had dug, but these were denied him because the Ministry of cultural heritage deemed unnecessary and outdated these theories, which had only resulted in partial findings and however, in amounts sufficient to justify the evidence of what Nashville exposed in his treaties.

Determined in their own businesses von Kleibert succeeded in organizing a consortium of private sponsors to fund his research and led the first excavations in the area, formally obtaining the permission of the ministry to investigate underground if necessary: in the winter of 1905, based exclusively on Nashville texts, not only Kleibert managed to find other quality artifacts similar to those found in 1838, but brought to light a series of settlements, houses and the first traces of a royal palace, a symbol that civilization ludoviciana had to be organized in the kingdom since ancient times. To demonstrate the sophistication of this ancient culture, was also found a tomb belonging to a member of an ancient royal family with a valuable set of gold jewelry, shells and precious stones not available on the island, symptom that already in ancient times in Ludovicia trade had to be particularly flourishing.
