Maximilian Emil Duerr (born 6 June 1887) is a Rotgeheiman Untersturmführer (Second Lieutenant) in the Verteidigungsstaffel. He is currently in the 3rd Panzer Battalion, 27th Panzer Regiment, 27th VS-Panzer Division Finnmarck. He was deployed to Hundermenschen during the 10 Days War, and participated in the Battle of Widerhausen and the Battle of Grünberg. Following his service in the 10 Days War, Duerr was commissioned as an Untersturmführer (Second Lieutenant) from Scharführer (Sergeant).
In 1909 he married Hannah Träger. The couple has a son, Karsten (born 22 September 1910), and a daughter, Sabine (born 3 March 1912). They divorced in 1914.
Duerr was honorably discharged from the Verteidigungsstaffel in 1916 after ten years of heroic service to Rotgeheim.
