Coastal Fleet
The Coastal Fleet is a brown-water navy operated by Nova-Columbia. They are small in size, consisting of mainly small speedboats armed with machine guns, with several larger vessels fielded in small numbers. In peacetime, their duties consist of acting as a Coast Guard, ensuring the safety of the harbors of Lake Miiyu, as well as assisting shipwreck victims. In addition to the sailors of the Fleet, they also operate the Coastal Marines, a semi-elite light infantry that makes up the bulk of the fleet's numbers. During wartime, they can attack targets on Lake Miiyu or in the rivers of Columbia, as well as providing transport for ground-based forces. They are typically considered to be the least important of the branches. Brief history Areas of operations
Air Corps
The Air Corps serves three main purposes. To secure air superiority against enemy forces, and to provide long-range transport & combat air support for Columbian ground elements. To this end, they are equipped with a variety of different planes & helicopters. In addition to this, they also can field a small number of infantry, the majority of which are security personnel for Columbian airfields. They also have their own special forces branch, the Airborne, although there is a very limited number of Airborne, due to the rarity with which they are used. During peacetime, they also provide SAR services for civilians, with a small number of Vašington helicopters modified specifically for the job. Brief history Range of operations
