Mingo Nuts II (born November 5, 1962) is the 52nd and current Chief of the Council of the Confederation of Sasoon. Born in Mingonia Town, Sasoon, he was the son of a local chief and attended the Mingonia Medicine Lodge where he was trained in medical practices and painting. But after a fight with local tribal councilman Crazy Horse XI, he decided to run him of out of office and he served on the tribal council of Mingonia until he was offered the position of Chief which he ran for and got immediately. After being Chief and becoming very popular, he was selected as the tribal representative to the Council of Sasoon when his predecessor in the Council voted for an unpopular tax on hunting. Mingo Nuts become prominent in the Council and in 2011, he was selected as Chief after the opening session and has not yet been challenged.

Early Life, Education, and Adulthood

Mingo Nuts II was born to Eagle-that-Speaks and Shining Waterfalls II in Mingonia Town. His father was the Chief of the Mingonia Tribe and his mother was a chieftess and head of all food production in the tribe. Mingo Nuts II was born 8th to his family and had 10 more children born after him. As a little boy, he was school in the ways of the tribe and taught to fish, hunt, and all the other necessities for a young brave. When it became time for him to become a man, he decided against becoming a brave and instead chose to become a tribal medicine man so he attended the Mingonia Medicine Lodge.

Medicine Man

He received his schooling and training from the medicine lodge and when he graduated from the lodge, he began to open his own private practice as a medicine man, and he specialized primarily in snake and raccoon bites. He also had some art training as well and was commissioned to do some painting on the local medicine lodge. On his spare time, he painted portraits for local chiefs and leaders and became very rich and influential, even starting a short lived art academy

Involvement in Politics

Battle for Mingonia Council

After a while, he got in trouble with Crazy Horse XI who was a member of the Mingonia Tribal Council after he accidently drew Crazy Horse without pants on and with a horse head. Crazy Horse tried to shut down his businesses and tried twice to push a condemnation of Mingo Nuts through the tribal council, but he failed twice. He then successfully cut funding off from the Mingonia Medicine Lodge, threatening to keep it cut off unless they revoked Mingo Nuts's status as a medicine man. In 1990, Mingo Nuts had enough of Crazy Horse and so did the rest of Mingonia Town so when tribal elections were held, Mingo Nuts easily beat Crazy Horse and took his seat in the tribal council.

As a member of the council, Mingo Nuts reauthorized funding for the Mingonia Medicine Lodge and pushed for more funding of the arts throughout Mingonia. He was also influential in lifting the ban on elk and squirrel hunting that had earlier been implemented by Crazy Horse, who held a secret monopoly on that industry. Mingo Nuts largest achievement though was securing an upgrade for the electrical plant in Mingonia that was so broken, it rarely ever worked anymore.

Chief of Mingonia

In 1998, Mingo Nuts consulted with his fellow council members and decided he was going to get nominated as Chief of Mingonia so when the Chief's election came up and Nimbawana, who was very old, announced he was retiring, Mingo Nuts was appointed as the new chief of Mingonia. As Chief, he worked with the council to get clean water redirected to Mingonia and helped solve hunting territory disputes with two neighboring tribes. He also got a major trail to be built through to the center of Mingonia to help ease the congestion on the smaller traditional trails, as well as repairing those trails that had been damaged by the recent storms.

Member of the Council of Sasoon

Mingo Nuts finished his term as chief in 2006 and the stepped down to return to his medicine but he also began to take interest in the Council of Sasoon and in November, the Tribal Council fired the current Council member Whining Cat after he voted for a tax on hunting in their region, despite local opposition. Mingo Nuts was nominated instead and he served as the representative of the tribe of Mingonia in the Council of Sasoon. Mingo Nuts became popular pretty fast, making a side job of painting portraits of the various council members.

Chief of the Council

In 2011, at the beginning of a new session for the Council, Mingo Nuts was nominated and chosen as the new chief of the Council, meaning he could now move into the Great Lodge. As Chief, Mingo Nuts has been working with many of the members to increase Sasoon's reach to the international community as well as ensure they stay open and neutral

Personal Life

Mingo Nuts II was married at birth to Angry Sparrow and together they had 18 children. Mingo Nuts II is known for his love of bananas and tropical fruit as well as a passion for flute music and tobacco.
