Total strength (as of Oct.2015) is around 230,000 personnel, this is arrtibuted to the large number of women who enlisted following the 2015 repel of the '''1961 Acto de Disciplina de Fuerzas''' (''1961 Forces Discipline Act'') that barred women from serving in the military. The act was partly repealed in 1991, when women were allowed in all non-infantry combat roles. Beginning 2016, the military is to undergo a massive reorganization process, most notably; a 98% salary increase for all personnel from NRD$27,500 to NRD$54,300 (NSD$50,000 to NSD$100,000), a 50% reduction in [[Narsoran National Army| National Army]] personnel from 150,000 to 75,000 and reducing the number of reserve personnel and increasing the number of active troops, changing from a 45% support structure and 55% operational capability, to a 60% combat operational capability and 40% support structure.
