Revision as of 14:35, 23 August 2016

The 2014 Narsoran General Elections were held on October 6 including presidential, parliamentary and regional elections. When no candidate received the majority 50%, a run-off election was held two weeks later on the 20th. Voters chose Centre Party candidates Sandalio Joaquín Espina for President and Elías Vicente Álvarez and Vice President respectively. Voter turnout was estimated by the National Statistics Office at 80% of the total population, the highest turnout since the 1990 General Elections.
