Abidawe , known in Abida as Åbëçėâ is a Federal Republic located in the region of The Confederation with a population of 5.4 billion people. The country occupies all of Europe, China and India. It is bordered to the north by Mongolia and to the south by Indonesia. Its territories include: Abidawa and Santa Rubio.
+

+
Abidawe is a name derived from the word Abidawe which means "rich". The country was named for its rich soil and bountiful natural resources that were found by the nations founder, William S. Stevens. Abidawe is not too densely populated as its territory is vastly expansive but its population is growing quickly, with a landscape consisting primarily of low-lying coast plains and mountain ranges. Over a third of the population live in the Asian territories of the nation.
+

+
The country is a Federal Republic with a division of powers to make sure that no one branch is too influential. The sovereign ruler is the President (Currently Thomas Bascom) who is assisted by a Vice President and a Secretary of State. The country was not always a Democratic Republic however, from its founding in 1877 to its victory over England in the Abida-England War it was actually a Republic. The first President was James Bascom and the Presidency has remained in his bloodline since. In 2014 the government was shifted to a Federal Republic from its previous Democratic Republic state as the government was slowly deteriorating and becoming more and more corrupt.
+

+
History
+
The history of Abidawe is divided into three periods: The Republic, The Warring Age and The Era of the Bascom's. The three periods were divided based on the major events of each period, the Republic, the War against England and the Never-Ending Rule of the Bascoms.
+

+
The Republic
+
The territory of Abidawe was independent from the time it was founded. Substantial settlement began after the defeat of the English in 1917. The population grew exponentially after Abidawe took the rest of Europe in 1924. It has been challenged for its territory many times and throughout its history has seen many riots and attempts at separation from the nation during times of war. Though through it all the country has stood strong and maintained its power in the world.
+

+
The Republic of Abidawe saw a relatively short period of existence only lasting from 1877-1917, about 40 years. It occupied a territory of about 750 km² and had a population of somewhere between 5,000-7,500 (no exact record was kept so this is an estimate. Some prominent colonists in during its short existence were William S. Stevens who was the president of the republic from 1880-1917 and Thomas Bascom, the father of James Bascom. In 1865 when they were both 18 years old, they decided that they wanted to raise enough money to purchase land of their own and start a new country. They got thousands of people behind them and with a grant from the Queen of England they set off to find land and purchased what was formerly known as Andorra for ₤10,000.
+

+
The capital of the Republic was Abidawe as the entire country was one city. The national sport was soccer and the colonists loved to play it in their spare time. By 1890 they had taken more land in Spain and France and now stood at about 1,428 km² with a population ranging from 8,000-10,000. Abidawe had officially established itself as a growing nation.
+

+
In 1912 England gained a sense of entitlement to the land that Abidawe occupied as they had funded the creation of the country. The Abida's had another idea, they wanted to keep the land to themselves and keep running their country the way that they saw proper. With recognition from Russia and the United States that Abidawe was an official country they had the ability to declare war on England ushering in a new era of Abidawe, The Warring Ages.
+

+
The Warring Ages
+
The Warring Ages of Abidawe lasted about 5 years from 1912-1917. This period saw the first defeat of England since the American Revolution and made the military strength of Abidawe even more noticeable around the world. The leader of the Abidas was none other than James Bascom who led his 750 soldiers to the siege of Buckingham Palace where they won the war.
+

+
The biggest event of this war was the siege of Buckingham Palace on March 21st, 1917 when the war officially ended. The queen was assassinated and the country was taken over. Abidawe's population had grown to almost 40 million and its area had reached 140,000 km² and they had officially established themselves as a world force. From 1917-1920, the newly expanded Abidawe was still trying to figure out what would become of their country because the population had grew to far to much for the current government form to handle.
+

+
This ushered in the next era known as the Era of the Bascoms. The country's government shifted to a Democratic Republic by recommendation of General James Bascom who was unanimously elected President in 1921. The new government was modeled after that of the United States and has been in place ever since.
+

+
The Era of the Bascoms
+

The Federal Republic
+

+
President Thomas Bascom established a Federal Republic form of government in Abidawe on November 29th of 2014. This government type provides for a more equal division of powers between the judicial and legislative branches but the executive branch becomes more powerful so corruption in either of the other branches cannot affect the legislation of the executive but corruption of the executive branch can be prevented by mutual agreement of the two branches. Orevito was built and named the new capital city of Abidawe, it houses all government facilities of the Federal Government.

Geography
+
Abidawe is a very beautiful country, it has many mountain ranges and beaches across the country. The Alps and Himalayas are the two most popular mountain ranges in the country drawing a large amount of tourists to the country every year. Its beaches are all privately owned which makes them expensive but also extremely beautiful. Littering is illegal and pollution is very low due to the law that made smoking illegal and the green energy that Abidawe developed. The coral reefs are in perfect condition and are a huge attraction for tourists as well, damaging them is against the law but you can pay to take a scuba tour of the reef. Many forests and some deserts throughout the nation allow for exploration including safaris.
+

+
Climate
+
The weather in Abidawe is beautiful. It is typically an extremely comfortable temperature, not too hot and not too cold. It gets cold enough in the winter for snow but not so cold that its unbearable. In the summer it can get pretty hot but the beaches allow for a place to escape and enjoy the heat.

Governance
+
The government of Abidawe is a Democratic Republic based off of the principle of representation. The government is filled with elected representatives who serve in terms except for the president who serves until his retirement. The government represents the citizens and decides on what laws are passed and which ones are not. They provide a more definite national image which contributes to nationalism. They make many important decisions and receive an equal pay for their work. The President earns the most of course but all of these wages are classified.
+

+
Political System
+
The Political System of Abidawe consists mainly of two political parties, though there are a few smaller parties that have yet to have anyone elected. These two major parties are the Democratic Party and the Republican. The Democratic Party has had their representative for president elected for each election except during the time of the Republic when the Republican Party dominated. The Republicans made the call on declaring war against England which ironically led to the Democrats taking over power. Here is a table of the Political Parties and the division of the houses they represent.

+
The Law Enforcement in Abidawe is reasonably funded based on the incredibly low crime rate in the nation. The poverty rate is low enough that theft is not common and the people are happy enough that murder is very rare. The Law Enforcement funding is actually categorized under that of Military so it can fluctuate without affecting the balance of the national budget. Police Officers are well respected officials in Abidawe and are held to a relatively similar standard as the military.
+

The military also gives some of its funds to the Space Program as Abidawe is currently researching Space Military Tech and other significant projects.

A new technological development that was created by Abida Technicians in 2014 allows you to choose the language you hear the movie in by pressing a button on your seat. Speakers in the seat behind you play the sound as loud as you would hear it if it were actually playing in the entire theatre without being loud enough for anyone else to hear. Even patrons simply walking into the theatre and not in their seat wouldn't hear anything.
