Ainguximoqrun /aɪn.gu.'ʃi:.moθ.run/ (officially the Commonwealth of Ainguximoqrun) was a monarchy, later a constitutional monarchy encompassing the northwestern part of the Island of Music and the islands of Repxxir, Galiuph', Rupana, and Tremjut. Before collapsing, it shared a border with Halinyzrun to the southwest and Redentro to the east. The majority of its southern border, however, was shared by the uninhabited central desert. Ainguximoqrun's capitol was Ajromos, and later Kalindazu.

Etymology

The name Ainguximoqrun is a Mjuzskoriqqo word meaning "The land of the people who play the horn." The name was given to the region by Selem Sintrand Senaqqam upon its founding in 1383.

History

Founding

In 1382, Selem Sintrand Senaqqam created a petition to Numal Umalura Arhvan, the present king of the City-State of Redentro at the time to be permitted to leave the nation in order to found a utopian society based on the principle of music. Umalura agreed, provided that Sintrand could find a hundred people who would go with him, thinking that Sintrand would never be able to do this.

While it has not been verified, the story goes that Sintrand in fact took less than four weeks to find the requisite support, and so Umalura funded the project.

Early the following year, Sintrand and his supporters left Redentro to found a new nation. This nation was founded in February of 1383.

The government was founded on the principles of good musicianship and collaboration. Unanimously, Selem Sintrand was selected by the company to be the first king of Ainguximoqrun, but he declined the position, nominating Karby Nolavinda in his place.

Xxgavnjur's War

In 1386, just three years after the country's founding, Zjulken Xxgavnjur became the king of the City-State of Redentro. His very first act as king was to launch a full-scale military attack on the Ainguximoqrunian capitol city of Ajromos. This started the war officially called the War of 1386, but more commonly called "Xxgavnjur's War," since he had declared war on Ainguximoqrun for no other reason than for his amusement.

While the war was not formally concluded until 1501, war efforts from both sides died off when the First Penzer-Redentro War started in 1459 as Xxgavnjur started focusing his efforts on attacking the newly founded City-State of Penzer, which also acted effectively as a barrier between Ainguximoqrun and Redentro, lying geographically between the two, and Ainguximoqrun never had any real interest in fighting a war to begin with.

1500's Expansion

In the 1520's through the 1550's, there was a widespread desire to spread out. Most people were growing tired of the crowded cities of what is now the province of Zisto. During this period, such towns were founded as Urebat Sintrand, Caldaraija, Coraqhtayry, and 'Evhz. A couple of people moved as far west as Nova Wirqal and Olulympfo, ELT, Mhuvalja-Ainguximoqrun.
