The following is Westwind's brief memoir of events surrounding Pixiedance, Delegate of The North Pacific

"I don't think there's any short way to tell the story of Pixiedance. That nation was controlled by multiple players during it's time as Delegate of The North Pacific. It was a time before Influence was a part of the game. I know a fair bit about it, as I was Secretary of Defense of the Alliance Defence Network (ADN) at the time, of which The North Pacific was a member. Delegate Pixiedance withdrew TNP from ADN, over objections by some within TNP's own government. I was part of negotiations with Pixiedance and TNP at the time. Eventually, Pixiedance abandon(ed) the entire existing government and moved to a new offsite forum. The new government was the North Pacific Directorate, and The Minister, another player, would control Pixiedance and the government. (Yes, I'm skipping over a lot). I joined the NPD Senate, so had an official capacity on both sides.

There were long efforts to overthrow (take the Delegacy from) Pixiedance and the NPD in TNP by ADN and it's allies. (ADN had about 60 member regions, and worked with other organizations as well). The objective (ultimate goal) from the ADN perspective was to restore the previously existing government, which continued to exist on it's original forum as a 'government-in-exile'.

For some, to see one of the largest member regions of ADN taken out of the alliance was a big deal. TNP/TWP/TRR were all ADN members. At one time, I was ADN Director."
