The nickname given to our humble nations most notorious serial killer. Rasmus Patton Ansel was 28 when his rampage started. Killing in the name of The Church of Violet, he sacrificially mutilated and tortured his victims on altars in churches of every religion across the country. He was caught after his 73rd kill. Over the course of 3 years he led police on various wild goose chases and dead ends. His fatal flaw was his arrogance. After sending a letter to police informing them of the location of his next murder, he was caught in the act. He was convicted on 73 counts of 1st degree murder, and sentanced to death. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The History of The Empire
In the early 21st century, San Marino was a small useless nation nestled in southern Italy. With an army of only 70 armed with crossbows, expansion attempts seemed futile. But in the year 2097, thanks to a coalition with other small landlocked nations such as Vatican City and the Kindom of Lesotho, a large enough army was amassed to strike fast and take Rome (Capital of Italy). Within weeks all of Italy had been annexed by the newly formed Landlock Coalition. The head of this Coalition was of course San Marino. They grew power hungry and removed both the Vatican and Lesotho from power. They then conquered South Africa through Lesotho, and then their neighbors Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia. They created an alliance with Poland and Belgium to save them from annihilation. Due to large amounts of political instability in Africa, the large army quickly took control of 87% of the land. Their only contender was an Egyptian coalition which fell in a matter of weeks, giving all of Africa to San Marino. Due to continued Vatican influence, and a drive for a unifying force for their territories, they turned to Christianity and renamed themselves as The Holy Empire of San Marino (HESM). By 2122, a large coalition had formed between all remaining European nations, the U.S., and Russia. The HESM quickly launched assaults on all borders with hostile nations. Due to a lack of preparedness most of Europe fell to their might in the ensuing 9 year war. The U.S. and Russia eventually agreed to a truce between them, and The HESM ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WA Diplomat
The Holy Empire of San Marino has been searching for a suitable diplomat and emissary to the WA since it's birth and subsequent membership request to the WA. This search was hastened following the appointment of WA delegate of the WEPA Coalition. We are proud to announce that we have come to a conclusion on our official diplomat and vice diplomat. In charge of representing our country at the WA will be Mr. Jonathan Chamberlain. Born and raised in The Holy Empire, he served his countrt valiently during the invasion of Brasilistan and eventually attained the rank of Colonel in our armed forces. We are proud to have one of our best represent us. Our vice-diplomat will be the striking Mrs. Jovaline Hausen. She is a home grown politican who served as governor of our northernmost province of Polskavin. After 3 terms she decided to let another run in her place to accept her role as vice delegate to the world assembly. We would also like to announce our offical representative in the WEPA Coalition. This would be none other than Mr. Josef Peters. Another war hero, he served during our defense against the invading Norwayans. He led a valient charge to destroy the enemy line and win the final and bloodiest battle of the war. He served as commander of the occupation for several years before we admitted their territory to our great nation. Mr. Peters is now our official representative in the WEPA Coalition, and we know he will do us proud.

From this point forward, our Holy Empire shall refer to itself and sign official documents with the acronym HESM. This will be used for all regional messages along with proposals towards the WA and in discussions on said proposals. Thank you, and may the Empire prosper Mr. Chamberlain HESM
