Pierre de Soyes

Pierre de Soyes (born 1930) is a Braslander lawyer and academic. He is the son of Richard de Soyes.

The De Soyes are an untitled noble family of the Arenterre (Arenland).

Pierre went to school at the exclusive Institut St Alban, and later studied Law at the University of St Philippe. He also served three years in the Royal Army.

In 1957 he married Émilie Dreux, daughter of Louis Dreux, a renowned judge. They had four children: Amande (born 1958), Marc (born 1960), Claude (born 1963) and Justine (born 1965).

Pierre was appointed King's Counsellor in 1972.

He is a Knight of the Order of St Nicholas.
