The Ploíarchos tou Kyní̱gi or Grand Huntsman of Diadochia is entitled to display ceremonial hunting horns as part of their coat of arms heraldic external ornaments.

Ploíarchos tou Kyní̱gi or Master of the Hunt (Greek: Πλοίαρχος του κυνήγι, Ploíarchos tou kyní̱gi or French: Maître de la chasse) or Grand Huntsman of Diadochia (Greek: Μεγάλο κυνηγός των Διαδόχων, Megálo kyni̱gós to̱n Diadócho̱n, French: Grand veneur de Diadochia) is a important position in the Imperial Court of Diadochia responsible for the overseeing the Imperial hunt. The position is the Diadochian equivalent of the western European title Master of the Hunt.

Duties

The Ploíarchos tou Kyní̱gi is responsible for the imperial hunt. Besides being charged with the responsibilty of overseeing the imperial hunt the holder of the position takes care of the Imperial hunting dogs (about 150 hounds). The Ploíarchos tou Kyní̱gi oversees ten squires (Tsiflikás), ten huntsmen (Kyni̱goí), three aides (Voi̱thoí), seven valets (Ypi̱réti̱s) for the hounds and and two dog handlers (cheiristí̱s skýlos) for the foxhounds.
