Political Parties
In Axdelian politics, there are 67 recognised parties. This list, however, shall only include those whom have attained over 0.1% of public vote in the 2015 general election, as those that had achieved less have little to no significance in the political ecosystem. Currently, three main parties dominate politics in the house of representatives. In descending order of significance, these parties are the Constitutional Founders party, The Labour Union Party, and the Conservative Initiative party.

History of general election results
NOTE - PARTY SEAT NUMBERS ARE INCORRECT, EXCLUDING THE 2015 ELECTION
Axdel hosts quinquennial general elections, deciding presidency and seats in the house of representatives via single transferable vote. There have been 4 general elections since the founding of Axdel, excluding the initial leadership referendum. Voters number their candidates in order of their preference, and as their first preference falls out of the race, their vote is automatically transferred to their second choice, and so on until a winner is decided.
